Getting Started

Welcome to Liminal Crates! This guide will help you get up and running in minutes.

Installation

Windows beta only for now (~220 MB download, ~700 MB installed). Get an access code and download from the Downloads page. Phone is waitlist / coming soon.

First Launch

On first launch, Liminal Crates will ask you to select your music folders. You can add multiple locations — Liminal Crates will scan them all and build your library automatically.

Supported Formats

Liminal Crates supports MP3, FLAC, AAC, M4A, OGG, WAV, AIFF, and WMA. You can also convert tracks between formats in the library, and optionally import audio from a YouTube URL when you have the rights to use it.
